EDM - Electrical discharge machining (or also electro spark machining) uses small discharges between the workpiece and the electrode to remove material. With this method, even very hard material can be worked with to produce small or complex shapes. Die sinking machining, on the other hand, can not only plunge complex shapes but also drill holes. For EDM we use the following machines:
Wire cutting machine Sodick SLC600G Premium+ - this machine is used for material weighing up to 1000 kg. X=600 mm, Y=400 mm, Z=350 mm, U=150 mm, V=150 mm.
Wire cutting machine Hitachi 203 S2 - an older model, designed for processing smaller orders
Die sinking EDM machine Penta CNC / Charmilles Roboform 400 - modern EDM for machining up to 500 kg of material
